I love 'em!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI was concerned when we started to work on Lobster Boy Meets Escargot Girl that something of the charm of the tiny Victorian trade card in my hand would be lost when we went colossal with it.  From past experience I knew that it could and would be a real roll of the dice.  Sometimes the physical finish of the original, in this case a laid on, strong copper ink, can turn the final result to mud.  On the other hand, by daring to take that chance, the rewards sometimes bring roars of joy in the studio.  I'm happy to announce the latter is the case here.  I really just love this print on so many levels.  Who dreamed it up?  Who brought that vision to life?
